AFAICS, JPA 2.2 is not (yet?) supported by the Eclipse Dali plugins. E.g. when you try to create a new JPA project, you also don't have the option to choose 2.2 as an available version. I will do some more investigation but the issue doesn't strike me as very critical at this time.
