André Dietisheim commented on JBIDE-26639:
------------------------------------------

We also found out that one cannot replicate this on csb mac laptops where the Red Hat Root certificate is installed and always trusted.
It thus turns out that this only happens if you have the Red Hat Root certificate installed "untrusted". The very first time that you're requested to trust the certificate for https://open.paas.redhat.com you'll see that it's derived form the former:

Derived from this the workaround is pretty easy: go to apple keystore and always trust the Red Hat Root Certificate:

> steps:
> # EXEC: open new connection wizard
> # EXEC: in server use *https://open.paas.redhat.com*
> # EXEC: hit *retrieve* link
> # ASSERT: dialog shows up where you should accept the self-signed certificate
> !image-2019-05-07-22-56-12-592.png!
> # EXEC: check *always trust "open.paas.redhat.com"* & hit *Continue*
> Result:
> The dialog shows up again with the *always trust "open.paas.redhat.com"* unchecked. It doesnt seem to matter if you check it: the dialog shows up again and again and again and again...
