yes, but it only deploys resources and does not compile class files. As I can see, with wad.jar it seems to be possible to rebuild class files and hot deploy within one second instead of stopping the server, restarting and waiting 40 seconds..

By the way, *actual jboss tools version* with eclipse jee (Version: 2019-09 R (4.13.0)) does have problems synchronizing the war archive with the server..the lib-folder is not deployed automatically and when starting the server, the server complains about not finding any libs..so I have to copy the libs manually after every ide restart or when clicking on full deploy..I guess, it`s a bug..already reported in https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-26741. Maybe the missing hot deploy is related to that?
