There is now a basic test scenario for subordinate recovery which can be used in combination with a suitable TOAST script to test a variety of server configurations (colocated or distributed client/web service/coordinator). The current TOAST script traces successful recovery but does not yet ensure that the coordinator service exits after recovery. The test scenario currently need to be started by hand using the web form and the server also needs to be restarted after a crash. This will eventually be automated by QE.
