The similar issues I also hit with Oracle JDK6 on Solaris 11 x86/x86_64 platform, see [1] and [2]. It seems there is a rule of 2 failures when running with JDK7 and 5 failures when running with JDK6. However the failures differ between 32 bit and 64 bit arch on the same JDK.

Mmmm. Tom, do you have any idea please? Could it be related to the slowness of QA solaris machines? Unfortunately, we have just two intel based solaris11 machines at QE hudson at the moment and both show the same failures.
