cs.cxx starts an AtmiBrokerServer. I notice that the cs.cxx does not propagate signals to the server.

So, If we do find that we still need to destroy the process then the fix could be ensure that signals are passed to the server which I'd expect to handle SIGINT gracefully and shutdown the queue correctly. But if your fix of not calling destroy works then I agree that would be the best approach.
