I issued the following command:

[/opt/svn/jbossas/trunk]>grep -r "executable" * | grep mvn
testsuite/build.xml:      <exec executable="${mvn.cmd}" dir="../thirdparty">

and I see that none of the JBossAS submodules uses ant to delegate build to maven.
