profiles.xml settings are not propagated using Maven 2.1.0

After moving to Maven 2.1.0, I need to provide the jbossXYZ.home property on command line (eg. -Djboss500.home=/dati/jboss-5.0.0.GA) when running tests as that seems not be propagated from the profiles.xml. This applies to every prop in the profiles.xml and might not be related to running the tests only.
