Hi Viral,
the link [1] is for EAP 5, [2] is for JBossWS 3.x.
As you noted, https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/JBWS/Advanced+User+Guide#AdvancedUserGuide-Logging has some info on logging using JBossWS 4, that is not in EAP 6 doc because I added that just recently.
Can you please try the approaches described in the JBossWS 4 doc?
On JBossWS 4, the cxf-extension-jbossws.xml is read only when spring mode is used and spring is not installed by default on EAP 6. Btw, to avoid confusion, I've removed the cxf-extension-jbossws.xml file on jbossws trunk few weeks ago.

> EAP 6 still has the cxf-extension-jbossws.xml contained under $JBOSS_HOME/modules/org/jboss/ws/jaxws-client/main/jbossws-cxf-client-4.0.4.GA-redhat-1.
> The approaches as provided in the link[1][2] does not seem to work.
