[~mkopecky], I've actually merged a slightly improved version of Rebecca's changes. In any case, before closing this jira, we should probably verify the fix with jdk from different vendors and on different operating system (last time I played with the compiler api, we later found unexpected issues with IBM jdk, for example). Is that something you can do?
