We ran a hands-on lab with dozens of individuals, several had challenges with the enterprise maven repo .zip, the hosted repo was unknown and if things went "side-ways" on the student, the JBDS+Maven troubleshooting tips of:
- right-click on project, select Maven, Update Project Configuration
- Window Show View Maven Repositories - where are my dependencies coming frome
- Preferences Maven User Settings - update settings
- Preferences JBoss Tools JBoss Maven Integration - Configure Maven Repositories...

and visually, checking out what is in .m2/repository locally
and visually reviewing the settings.xml
