I'm tracking this on ISPN-2046. ISPN-1174 is the ultimate cause, but you'd better watch ISPN-2046 as it will be resolved only when I'll have tests for this specifically or find an alternative solution.

Otherwise it's fine to use a CacheLoader, just not enable async write-behind.
