* Are you using an EAP 6.1 WTP runtime adapter to deploy to the server? If you're not sure, I'd recommend getting JBoss Developer Studio 7.1 (https://devstudio.jboss.com/download/7.x.html) or JBoss Tools 4.1.1 (https://www.jboss.org/tools/).

* Also, I'd recommend removing any failed or existing deployments of the same app, before deploying from Eclipse.
