    I suspect you've run into a problem related to the JBoss BOM versions and the AS version you're currently using. To fix this, downgrade the version specified in the POM from "7.2.0.Final" to "7.1.1.Final".

Or you could grab the latest sources of this project from GitHub:https://github.com/jboss-jdf/jboss-as-quickstart/archive/master.zip where this has been fixed.
