It might be useful for quickstarts to not only include the working code/project but also include a list of the steps used to produce it.  This helps new users to both the development environment and the application start a new project on their own and at least rough it in.  What I mean by that are steps like 'Using Eclipse create a dynamic web project, then create the following classes, ...'. You do not need to include every single detail but at least the high level ones (specifically 'create this artifact' type ones are the most helpful.
