It probably has something to do with the project name in Eclipse. If you used helloworld as your project name, you can access the application at /helloworld/HelloWorld instead of the page opened by Eclipse automatically (/jboss-as-helloworld/HelloWorld).

I ran it from eclipse without changing the code at all. I get 404 - /jboss-as-helloworld/HelloWorld
