Looks like it may be possible to write a sort of common adapter for at 
least Weblogic, Glassfish, and Websphere with some caveats. 
Unfortunately, they all implement this spec in some subtle ways so we'd 
probably end up having to write an adapter per environment, but at least 
we know how to attack these major EE platforms for integration.
