You're probably right, but AFAIK it's a requirement for product that we build on WildFly core - Bolek?!

Installer for adapter? I can't see why we need installer for server on EAP.

You can, but that's still a good reason to keep in same repo.
I guess it would be simplest to keep adapters in same repo. In the release notes we can include which adapters have to be updated (including if they have to be updated at the same time as the server or not).
