[mod_cluster-issues] Not able to configure mod_cluster with JBoss 6.0.0.M1

Why are you attempting to use pre-release versions of both JBoss AS and
mod_cluster when the final versions are available?

I recommend using AS 6.0 Final (or better yet, AS 7.0.1), where
mod_cluster is fully supported out of the box.
