Does Netty use the reactor pattern?

Hi, I have read that Apache Mina and xSocket both use the reactor pattern. I
tried to find out which design pattern Netty is using but couldn't find any
information about it. Does it use the same pattern or is there something
similar? 

It would be great if someone could help me.
