Client side disconnect/reconnect?

Hi Bruno,
  I tried both your suggestions but no luck as i get a lot of exceptions.
For the second suggestion, it looks like i am in a loop of OPEN/CLOSED after
i try to reconnect.

Any other pointers would be appreciated.
