Thread contention

And now I am very confused.

If i dont let the container instantiate the pool, the active threads does
not stick to the core pool size, but if I use an ArrayBlockingQueue it still
is not picking up queued tasks.

Using SynchronousQueue allows each task to be handled, but the active thread
count always stays at 0.
