admin interface?

Has anyone worked on an admin interface for netty servers?  

All of us could use generic functionality such as: how many clients are
connected to a netty server, how much data has been transferred, remote
users' ip, perhaps activity over time.

Additionally actionable items could be provided to start/stop servers,
disconnect specific clients, etc.

The interface could be a web app or REST interface (or both).

I don't know if such functionality could be added as a set of handlers to be
inserted into channel pipelines, however.

Does such a thing exist?
