"Long running" handlers

Anyone any ideas?

Maybe my question isn't clear. But what happens if I call something like a
stored procedure within my handler and it takes x amount of time to execute?
I would figure that the more threads I gave to netty the more handler I
could execute. Now it seems that my handler just waits for one after the
other to finish? Or I'm I crazy? :p
