Zlib compression plus SSL causing problems

Hi.

I've tried removing the ExecutionHandler and also tried replacing it with
the new OrderedMemoryAwareThreadPoolExecutor(10, 0, 0) but in both cases it
fails indeterminately like before.

I was just wondering if it was anything obvious I had done. If not, I'll try
and post a working example that demonstrates the problem.
