I'll try to pitch in where I can.

Can we have some guidance as to how the changes should to be made?

1. Is the current org.jboss.netty.handler.codec.http.websocket package to be
kept as is for backwards compatibility?

2. If backwards compatibility is required, should we create a new package
called org.jboss.netty.handler.codec.http.websocket10?
