Can I alter the list of enabled cipher suites?

Update...

I was able to find a solution from the replies I received. I should have
also mentioned that we are using HornetQ to call Netty. The solution was to
add logic to the HornetQ NettyAcceptor class so that after it creates the
SSLEngine from the SSLContext, it retrieves the SSLParameters and sets the
cipher suites to what we want and then resets the SSLParameters back into
the SSLEngine. 

This works like a charm.
