NioClientSocketChannelFactory.releaseExternalResources issue

Hello there, on my android phone (htc desire)
NioClientSocketChannelFactoryreleaseExternalResources() (i called it after
channelgroup.close())
takes at least 1 minute to return. Is there any way to make it more
responsive?
