Has any verification been done with JSF 2.2?

I'm having some issues with 5.0.0-SNAPSHOT with r:ajax render not updating anything even though their is a partial update in the response. f:ajax works ok so it might be an issue with @region too.

Didn't want to start kicking off issues if basic testing hadn't started.
