I can reproduce this on OS X 10.5.1 with Safari 3.0.4 (5523.10.6). I also get the same behaviour with a page in my Seam 2.0.0.GA application, whose generated HTML contains <script type='text/javascript' src='/vl/a4j_3_1_2.GAorg.ajax4jsf.javascript.AjaxScript'></script>
