There might be few use cases in which panel bar and panel menu should be binded to a collection of objects(having some behavior).
If this feature is there it shall be possible then to bind menus directly to some collection and upon click of any menu item we can generate actions depending upon the object it corresponds to.
I think it will add more attributes to JBOSS rich faces.
