I have a similar issue --  I am dragging a value which is dropped on a node.  The value is used to create a new leaf in a backing bean and added to the list of leaves under that node.  The new leaf appears and the label on all of the leaves is correct, but when a leaf is dragged without doing a page refresh or contract/expand, the value of the dragged object is incorrect. It is another leaf on the tree under this node.  A page refresh or expanding/contracting will display the correct leaves.

Any idea when this will be addressed?
