step to reproduce:

Go to the rich faces demo with XP + safari 3.0.3 
try to execute the ModalPanel demo

Observed

The demo will not work. In my application, the modal pannel is displayed but has an offset that makes it unusable. Since Safari is winning market share, it is critical for my application to have it working before I release it.
