andreas_back updated RF-2997:
-----------------------------

    Attachment: secondFaces.zip

Hello Maksim,

due to your request the archive secondFaces.zip contains an Eclipse-Workspace with a stripped down version (no database access) of the code that produces the blocks of data in the scrollableDataTable here on my computer with IE 6, RichFaces 3.2.0 SR1 and Tomcat 6.0.16.

The table is defined in scrollableDataTable.xhml. The backing bean is in the package de.intermoves.evalrichfaces.

To reproduce the error it seems essential to scroll fast and to use the
scrolling bar, then the scrolling arrows and then the scrolling bar again several times.

If you need further input to reproduce the bug, feel free to ask for it. (This scrollableDataTable has some management attention in our firm.)

Greetings

Andreas

> When using a rather large number of rows
> (for examle <input id="j_id1:articleList_rows_input" name="_rows_input" type="hidden" value="163586" />, but rows="30")
> scrolling for a while in a scrollableDataTable with IE6 or IE7 breaks the data that is shown in the table.
> The testdata that is shown in the table has an ascending row number without gaps in the data.
> After scrolling for a while the row numbers of rows that are visible
> in the table are not ascending anymore, there can be several blocks
> of ascending rows.
> If the table is in such a state then the data in the visible row does not
> correspond to the data of the selected rows.
