Hello,

as far as I can see from the history of RF-4431 Konstantin Mishin has done some work on this issue
and in fact in richfaces-ui-3.3.0-20081008.041111-29 I wo not see the endless loop anymore for Firefox 3.0.3.

But as stated in RF-4431 there is still some refreshing problem when
the fresh data is shown in the browser. This is true for

* in FF 3.0.3 
* and in Safari 3.1.2 (525.21)
* and in Google Chrome (0.2.149.30)

Let me add the observation that under Opera/9.27 there is the same problem.
And additionallly the last and first rows of the table are not rendered after scrolling.

For the project we are working on the correct scrollableDataTable is a key point
and this has gained considerable attention of our management 

Therefore if you need further input just ask for it.
