Making ExtendedTableDataModel implement serializable interface seems not a problem at all ( I have already working serializable copy and demo project testing it on my local machine), the real problem is that during developement of extended data table we have stopped extending SerializableDataModel because we didn't know how to implement getSerializableModel method properly (10716 revision).  Before 10716 revision in getSerializableModel we have just been returning the original model and we didn't quite think it is propoer behaviour. As jBoss forums are currently offline, I don't know if the real problem is that extendedTableDataModel is not extending serializableDataModel, or if it is not implementing Serializable interface. In both caes I'd be VERY grateful to hear Nick Belaevski's oppnion of how to deal with that problem ...
