That case will be reproduced if user selects nothing in the step 4. Don't forget to verify next scenario too:
1. Go to the test application
2. Select inplaceSelect component
3. Set showControls to true
4. Activate inplaceSelect but don't select anything
5. Click on page => pop up is closed
5. Expand popup again: click on the down arrow icon in the inplaceSelect component 
6. Try to select any from pop up and submit it
FAILURE: it is impossible to select any value.
