Microsoft Office 2007 has introduced a new interface structure, a 'ribbon bar', that is also available as .NET component.
RichFaces could introduce a component with that interface too, for example based by the jQuery-based 'Ribbon' widget, see http://jqueryribbon.codeplex.com/ for details.
