I can't reproduce this situation. More, I don't understand your code.
Sidebar - it is region that contains all components that placed inside<f:facet name="sidebar">, in your code this facet is not present.
I try livedemo sample, remove from layout sample facet sidebar, but all works fine.
Please, add more information about your issue
