You can reproduce this problem at the richfaces demo site:
http://livedemo.exadel.com/richfaces-demo/richfaces/calendar.jsf

1. change the date pattern to "d/m/yy HH:mm"
2. Select a date after the 14. April 2030
Now the returned date is the 14. April 1930. To check that you can change back the date pattern to "MMM d, yyyy"
