1. deploy Metamer to Tomcat 6  http://nexus.qa.jboss.com:8081/nexus/content/repositories/releases/org/richfaces/tests/metamer/4.0.0.20101107-M4/metamer-4.0.0.20101107-M4-mojarra.war
2. open http://localhost:8080/metamer/faces/components/richSelect/simple.xhtml
3. set showButton=true
4. select something (e.g. Alaska)

result: output is not rerendered
when you click somewhere outside select, an ajax request is sent and output is rerendered (h:selectOneMenu behaves differently)
