The shadow which is blocking the main screen when the modal panel is visible, is not covering the whole page, and also it is not possible to change the size of the window with the modal panel, also the modalPanel is rendered in the left corner, not in the place where is the user currently focused. 
I had to move on the display sometimes, because the modal panel is displayed somewhere else than in the current user focus.
