I can imagine some mobile use-cases. 
For example user is uploading photos from terrain, is making new avatar for his social network profile ...

I like the way it works on Android, there is a promt for selecting the source from where you want to upload the files, and I like the option - "camera". So you can upload fresh photos easily.

Therefore there should IMHO be just *note* generated for mobile devices. Something like, it is not working on Safari-like browsers.
