Just to avoid clash with {{maven-resources-plugin}} (standard Maven plugin [1]),

it would be desired to rename {{maven-resources-plugin}} to {{maven-richfaces-resources-plugin}}.

That name was chosen because you need RichFaces features in both, plugin usage and runtime.
