Most important case:
Considered as issue and not RFC because menuItem - actually should behave as link (different one for different modes). So it should be possible to use with componentControl for example to show some popup.
					<rich:panelMenuItem label="Item 1.1" name="Item_1_1_x" mode="client" onclick="alert('1')">
						<rich:componentControl event="click" operation="show" target="mp"/>
					</rich:panelMenuItem>
now only alert is called. and behavior not encoded.
