1. deploy Metamer and open http://localhost:8080/metamer/faces/components/richMenuItem/simple.xhtml
2. set mode="server"
3. click in menu File -> New

result:
area containing executed phases should contain also following:
  * action listener invoked
  * action invoked

in ajax mode it works fine
