Thorsten Spaeth commented on RF-10758:
--------------------------------------

Well, this problem is really quite annoying... I digged a little bit into the problem and it is definately concerning the tabindex=-1 assignment in "popupPanel.js" when walking through the dom. A reference to the behaviour-problems in firefox can be found here: http://jehiah.cz/a/tabindex

Is there any chance that this problem will be fixed very soon - even with a patch only against the 4.0.0 ? I'm having problems analyzing the whole structure of the component library for now :-)

BTW: I was able (based on the modal panel example from the richfaces demo page above) to _HAVE_ a correct walkthrough of the input fields when closing and opening the modal panel again. Therefore it must be something very weird in the js-engine...

> When opening a popupPanel with inputText-components, pressing the tab key to switch between input fields results in the address input field getting the focus. tabindex-attributes do not help this issue. This issue does not exist with Google Chrome browsers.
