Karsten Wutzke commented on RF-12279:
-------------------------------------

I totally agree with that one. Using Tomahawk works, but having a simple component that doesn't require a complete additional library is much beter. Furthermore the text input and buttons don't automatically get the skin-dependent RF look.

> Today, if I use JBoss 7 + RichFaces 4, I don't have any component I could use to simply add an input type file to a form, like [t:inputFileUpload|http://myfaces.apache.org/tomahawk-project/tomahawk20/tagdoc/t_inputFileUpload.html].
> See [that thread on JBoss Community forums|https://community.jboss.org/thread/195637].
> The problem is that it seems to difficult to use both RichFaces & Tomahawk libraries at the same time.
> So could it be possible to add a {{rich:simpleFileUpload}} for example or an attribute in {{rich:fileUpload}} which we could use to make it simple.
> Actually, if I use {{<rich:fileUpload listHeight="1" maxFilesQuantity="1">}} I must add a file with browse, *then* click on "Add" which is not really simple to understand (nor a web best practice) for users.
