I can't reproduce the issue. I have attached my test application (it is also available on https://github.com/papousek/richfaces-sanbox/tree/RF-12298). 

Use maven to build a test application (it produces deployable target/richfaces-sandbox-mojarra.war file):

mvn clean package -Pmojarra
{code}

When I deploy it and http://localhost:8080/richfaces-sandbox-mojarra it works correctly (no problem in IE 9).
