Steps to Reproduce:
# deploy metamer and open http://localhost:8080/metamer/faces/components/richSelect/simple.xhtml
# select "Alaska" in the rich:select
# click somewhere -> "Alaska" is displayed in output area
# click on the rich:select
# delete "Alaska" and select "California"
# click somewhere -> no item is selected in the rich:select
# select "California" again
# click somewhere -> "California" is displayed in output area
